INSPIRATIONS
My work is influenced through my inspiration in
nature, which is simply, water. The lucid properties of water is what attracts
me, specifically the phenomenal shades the sea could occupy despite water being
solely transparent.
Traveling plays a huge influence behind my work and whenever I go on a holiday, I prefer to spend time near water, which relaxes my mind and soothes the emotions that make me forget some of the stress and troubles that are seen in a daily life in a busy world today. I have traveled to Iceland, UAE, Pakistan, and Europe and in other parts of the UK, which has inspired and influenced my creative ideas.
My traveling expeditions reinforce my inspiration to higher levels, especially when traveling across the shores of the Arabian Sea in UAE and Pakistan where I have spent most of my time. During these precious moments, I capture beautiful moments and memories of the Sea using photography, drawings, paintings and then I further explore through the photographs to develop inimitable forms and designs in my sculptural work using a blank page in my sketchbook which then transforms and developed into three dimensional form.
